John Starek III
John Starek III, 58, of Washington, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, August 16, 2022. He was born August 9, 1964, a son of Frances Sobolewski Starek and the late John Starek, Jr.
He was a graduate of Trinity High School and Computer Tech. He worked at Foodland and most recently worked for Peak Technical Staffing.
He loved working on cars. His favorite car was his 2003 Ford Mustang. He was a wealth of knowledge and could tell you many trivial facts. His sense of humor was contagious, and he could be sarcastic at times. He was always willing to help someone. He found fixing things to be a challenge and was always willing to work on different projects.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his mother, Frances Sobolewski Starek; his daughter, Alexandria Starek; his grandchildren, Ariella and Alias Fisher; his brother, Mark Starek (Sue); and his nephew, Stephen Starek.
He was a member of Lakeview Christian Life Church.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, August 19, in Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., Joseph P. Salandra LFD, owner/supervisor, 304 West Pike Street, Canonsburg.
