David F. Caffrey died at age 65 Friday, August 19, 2022, in Washington. He was born August 7, 1957, in Canonsburg, to parents Bernard R. Caffrey and Dorothy Caffrey, both deceased.

David grew up in Washington and attended area schools. He graduated from Washington High School in 1975. For a time, David was employed as an over-the-road truck driver. At the time of his death, he was employed as a warehouse worker at Hellava Container Company.

David is survived by three siblings, Louise L. Hewett of Los Cruces, N.M., Jane C. McKown of Port Deposit, Md., and Dennis M. Caffrey of Pittsburgh; a niece, Susan Hamlin (Brian) of Duluth, Ga.; and a nephew, Michael Jackson of Hobe Sound, Fla.; and five great-nieces and nephews, Marlee, Alivia, Brice, Joey and Grace.

In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by one sister, Patricia Caffrey of Washington.
