James E. Grayson
James E. Grayson, 43, of Washington, died Friday, August 19, 2022, in Canonsburg Hospital.
He was born November 15, 1978, in Washington, a son of the late Richard Hopkins and the late Sandra Wilder Grayson.
James was a 1997 graduate of Washington High School and worked for Red Robin as a chef and a manager.
He loved the Steelers, playing basketball, football, the casino and most of all, spending time with his daughter, Jazmine.
Surviving are his daughter, Jazmine Schultz; two sisters, Jeannine Grayson of Montgomery, Ala., Jody White Grayson and a brother-in-law, Oscar White, both of Washington; his nieces and nephews, Melia Harris, Malayja Grayson, Rahshad Grigsby, Casimiur “Dontae” Johnson, Masiya Grayson, Shanequa Johnson, Shawntay Johnson, Sherika Johnson and David Johnson; and many great nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received from 4 to 6 p.m., the time of service, Sunday, August 28, in the Piatt & Barnhill Funeral Home, 420 Locust Avenue, Washington with Reverend Pauline Patterson officiating.
