Byron K. Christian, 59, of Mansfield, Ohio, passed away peacefully Sunday, August 14, 2022 in the Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland, Ohio, after more than 8 years battling cancer.
He was born February 19, 1963, in Cleveland, the youngest son of Robert N. Christian and Anneliese Christian.
Byron “Kris” was a 1981 graduate of Peters Township High School, where he played football and was All-Conference in his junior and senior years. He later attended Glennville State and Bradford School of Business.
He worked as a sales engineer working in his father’s business, R N Christian Associates Inc. He also had considerable experience in the automotive industry.
He loved the outdoors, was an excellent gardener and loved his dog, Baron.
Byron is survived by his father, Robert, and his mother, Anneliese; his brothers, Dr. Eugene Christian (Linda) and Duane Christian (Kim); and several nephews.
There will be a memorial service at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, September 24, in First Lutheran Church, 92 West Walnut Street, Washington, PA 15301.
