Betty J. Bellis Miller, 82, of Dilliner, passed away peacefully Friday, August 26, 2022, at her home, following a lengthy illness.
Born in Lamberton, on May 19, 1940, she was a daughter of the late Joe and Ida Layhue Bellis.
Betty was a bus driver for Radcliff Bus Lines with the Southwestern Greene School District and was a foster parent for a number of children over the years.
Surviving are her children: Rick Glover of Bobtown, Sandy (David) Riggleman and Tonya L. Williamson, both of Dilliner; several grandchildren and their families; a sister, Joyce Zalar, and a brother, James Bellis of Bobtown.
She was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed looking after her family, and will be dearly missed.
Her husband, William J. Miller passed away on June 19, 2019. Also deceased are two sons, Rodney and William Glover; two brothers, Curtis and William Bellis; and two sisters, Arlene Morris and Marie Zaby.
Friends will be received in the Richard R. Herod Funeral Home, Point Marion, from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, and from 10 until the 11 a.m. hour of service, Wednesday, with Ron Cralton officiating.
