Rose Teresa Slugo
Rose Teresa Slugo, 97, formerly of Southview, died Saturday, August 27, 2022, in Bridgeville Rehabilitation and Care Center.
She was born December 16, 1924, the daughter of the late Antonius and Sophia Zevnik Tutin.
She was a member of former Guardian Angels Church and the SNPJ. She enjoyed bingo and baking.
She worked as a Laborer for Canonsburg Pottery.
Surviving is her son, Leonard Slugo of Upper St. Clair; grandchild, Sean Slugo (Missy Rolin) of Bridgeville; great-grandchild, Alliegh Rose Slugo; grand daughter-in-law, Tricia Slugo of Beaver Falls; brother, Louis (Marceline) Tutin of Leesburg, Fla.
She was preceded in death by husband, Tony W. Slugo Jr; grandson, Leonard Slugo Jr. in 2020; daughter-in-law, Linda Slugo in 2021; three sisters, Frances Suchoparski, Stephanie Zdovc and Sophie Persutti; and three brothers, Tony, Joseph and Frank Tutin.
Friends will be received from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Tuesday, August 30, 2022, at Coleman-Taylor Funeral Services, 3378 Millers Run Road, Cecil, where a Blessing Service will be held at 12 p.m.
Interment will follow in the Venice Cemetery.
