David J. Quarture Sr.
David J. Quarture Sr., 79, of Lawrence, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 26, 2022, after suffering a stroke in January.
Born on September 1, 1942, he was the son of the late Julia and Leonard Quarture Sr.
He was the loving father of David (Karen) Quarture Jr., Kimberly (David) Quarture, Brian (Brigette) Quarture and Adam Quarture. Cherished Pap of Shani, Mya, Hannah and Mason. Loving brother of Richard (Char) Quarture. David is also survived by three nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Robert and Leonard Quarture Jr.
David proudly served in the United States Navy. He was a long time bar owner of the Cabaret West and many other bars.
At the family’s request, all services will be held privately.
