Kathleen J. Montgomery, 68, of Castle Shannon, died Saturday, August 27, 2022.

She was born March 12, 1954, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Charles William and Joan Marie Perret Montgomery.

Kathleen worked at Quest Diagnostics and retired after 45 years of dedicated service.

She was an avid reader and wrestling fan and also enjoyed sewing and crocheting. Kathleen loved dogs and was affectionately referred to by her family as the “dog whisperer”.

She was very proud of her Irish heritage and was her happiest when she was spending time with family.

Kathleen is survived by three sisters, Patty L. (Brian) Bahr, Donna Jean (Jonathan) Bent and Beverly A. (Robert) Fronzaglio; a niece, Cynthia Bent; and three nephews, Marcus Bent, Steven (Sharon) Bahr and Vincent Fronzaglio.

Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, August 30, in the Beinhauer Funeral Home, 2828 Washington Road, McMurray (724-941-3211), where services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 31. Interment will be private.
