Melvin A. Mikalik, 54, of Carmichaels, passed away Monday, August 29, 2022, in the home of his sister, Beatrice, in Crucible, after a lengthy battle with cancer. He was born September 17, 1967, in Waynesburg, a son of the late John and Delores B. Stencel Mikalik.

Family and friends are welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., the time of a funeral service, Thursday, September 1, in the Yoskovich Funeral Home, 300 South Vine Street, Carmichaels. A committal service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, September 2, at Monongahela Hill Cemetery, Mapletown.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
