Seena Steeber
Seena Steeber, 94, of Canonsburg, died Monday, November 19, 2022. She was born March 20, 1928 in Vandergrift, to James Alcenus and Ruth Woolsey Mulhorn, and spent most of her life in Canonsburg.
Seena graduated from Uniontown Hospital Nursing School in 1949 and from Washington Hospital School of Anesthesia in 1964. She worked as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist for Canonsburg and Washington hospitals, retiring in 1984.
On November 23, 1950, she married Charles Calvin Steeber, who preceded her in death October 4, 2017.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Vivian Lois Mulhorn Anderson; and her brothers, James Walter Mulhorn and Edward Alcenus Mulhorn.
Seena is survived by her son, Herman Charles (Polly) Steeber; and her grandson, Charles Douglas Steeber. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Seena was an avid reader, loved her cats, and enjoyed keeping up with politics and discussing current events.
There will be no public visitation. Services are private and entrusted to Sollon Funeral and Cremation Services, LTD, 30 East College Street, Canonsburg, Phillip L. Sollon, supervisor, 724-746-1000.
