William L. Hickman
William L. “Bill” Hickman, of Canonsburg, passed away peacefully, at the age of 85, Tuesday, November 29, 2022.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Vera Rossell Hickman; husband of the late Lorraine Barufaldi Hickman and Norettia Trompeter Hickman, the mother of his children; and his brother, Paul Hickman.
Bill was the proud father of Robert (Beverly) Hickman, Rebecca (Joe) Zahn, and William (Linda) Hickman; loving PapPap of David (Michelle) Hickman, Jason Hickman, Chelsea Zahn, Nicole Zahn, Kristi (Bret) Coburn, and Scott (Brianna) Frizzell; cherished great-grandfather to Ella, Graden, Brylee, Bristol and Connor; and grand dogs, Zoey and Libby.
Bill was a retired heavy equipment mechanic and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He enjoyed sports, classic cars and the company of his family and many friends.
Family and friends will be received from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, December 4, and from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday, December 5, in the Beinhauer Funeral Home, 2828 Washington Road, McMurray, 724-941-3211, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, with military honors immediately following.
