Dorothy L. Buncie
Dorothy L. Buncie, 94, of McDonald, passed on Sunday, December 4, 2022.
She was born June 15, 1928 in Latrobe; a daughter of the late John and Esther Thomas Buncie.
Ms. Buncie worked at Pittsburgh International airport for 35 years, where she prepared food for all the airlines. She retired in 1985.
Dorothy was a member of St. Isidore the Farmer Parish. She had a love for elephants, devoting a whole room in her house full of them. She loved playing bingo, her family and friends would travel everywhere just to play bingo. Dorothy liked working on word search puzzles, watching game shows, and spending time with her family.
Surviving is a sister Rose Dolfi of McDonald, and many nieces and nephews and great- nieces and nephews.
Deceased are a step-father Joseph Cossack; two sisters, Dolores Cook, and Lavada Walker; and a brother Phillip Cossack.
Family will receive friend’s from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, December 7, at Nation Funeral Home Inc. 220 E. Lincoln Ave. McDonald, PA. 15057. A blessing service will take place on Thursday, December 8, 2022 at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Robinson Run Cemetery.
