Ruth Alma Bedillion
Ruth Alma Bedillion, 100, of Felton, DE passed away November 24, 2022.
Ruth was born on March 3, 1922 in Washington, a daughter of the late Harold & Ethel Hamilton.
Ruth graduated from Trinity High School in 1939 in Washington, and attended Indiana State Teachers College, graduating in 1943 with a BS degree in Home Economics; starting her teaching career thereafter at Chartiers-Houston High School.
Mrs. Bedillion was a skilled seamstress, worked diligently in church missions, loved travel and camping. She enjoyed making special memories with her family.
Ruth is preceded in death by two husbands, Blair C. Ferguson and John B. Bedillion; brothers, Donald and Robert Hamilton; and grandchildren, Blair and Jasmine Ferguson.
She is survived by her children, Lynda Hultman (Randy) and Todd Ferguson; stepson, John Bedillion (Sherry); four grandchildren, Kristen Roman (Paul), Kelly Bonal (Beyan), Richard Hultman, and Rachael Sprowl (Waylon); six great-grandchildren, Gabriel and Margo Bonal, Eden Roman, Morgan Hultman, Kayleigh and Oliver Sprowl.
A celebration of her life will take place, Monday, December 12, 2022, 1 p.m., at Central Assembly of God, 155 McGovern Rd, Houston, PA with fellowship to follow.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations in her name may be made to Wycliffe Associates (www.wycliffeassociates.org) an organization which translates the Bible and shares the scriptures worldwide.
