Bonnie JoLeene Steffan
Bonnie JoLeene Steffan, 82, of Montour II, Cecil Township, peacefully passed away Friday, December 9, 2022, in her home, surrounded by family.
She was born December 2, 1940, a daughter of the late Clyde and Josephine Hooker Weimer. She was also raised by her late uncle and aunt, Roy and Shirley Snatchko.
She wed her late husband, Franklin Delano Steffan, December 15 1962.
Bonnie worked at St. Clair Hospital September 1990 through March 2006. She was a homemaker, enjoyed playing cards, reading her daily bread, watching game shows, and spending time with her family. Ms. Steffan was a member of Venice Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are her two sons, Franklin Steffan (Charlotte Beatty) of Cecil, and Bruce (Janelle) Steffan of Cecil; two daughters, Mary Rush of Summerville, S.C., and Florine (Andy) Hicks of Southview; grandchildren, Haleigh (Scottie) Jones, Mercedes Lipinski, Daisy (Mitch) Barton, Elizabeth and Brianna Steffan, and Andrew Hicks; greatgrandchildren, Aleaha, Emersyn and Isaiah Jones; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by brothers, David Weimer and George Hooker.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, December 13, in Coleman-Taylor Funeral Services, 3378 Millers Run Road, Cecil, PA 15321, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 14, with Pastor Gary Gibson officiating.
Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray.
