Henry Oliver Potts
Henry Oliver “Hank” Potts, 81, of McDonald, passed away Saturday, December 10, 2022, in Townview Rehab and Skilled Nursing, Canonsburg.
Hank was born February 16, 1941, in Coraopolis, a son of the late Harold A. and Lois Marshall Potts.
Mr. Potts was a proud U.S. Army veteran. After his service in the military, Hank went to work as an iron worker for the Local Union 3, where he spent 21 years.
Hank was lucky enough to marry the love of his life and best friend, Norma, over 60 years ago. Together they raised their two sons and filled their lives full of so much love and laughter. They also enjoyed traveling in their motor home.
Surviving are his loving wife, Norma Gayle Cummins Potts; son, Harold “Tom” (fiancee Vicki Kaine) Potts; siblings, William Potts, Cliff Potts, Duane (Harvene) Potts and Robert (Charlene) Potts; daughter-in-law, Susan Potts; and stepgranddaughter, Brooke.
Along with his parents, Hank was preceded in death by his son, Henry Potts, Jr.; his daughter-in-law, Carol Potts; siblings, Harold Potts, Ray Ellen Ealy, Kenneth Potts and Loraine Williams.
Friends and family will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, December 13, in Thomas-Little Funeral Service, Inc. and Crematory, 5000 Noblestown Road, Oakdale, (724-693-2800), where a service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, December 14. Interment will follow at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
