Lillian Victoria Dulaney

Lillian Victoria “Vicky” Dulaney, 78, of Washington, formerly of Mt. Morris, died at 12:26 a.m. Monday, January 24, 2022, in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh.

She was born Wednesday, May 5, 1943, in Mt. Morris, a daughter of the late Charles L. Dulaney and Addie Marie Johnson Dulaney.

Vicky was a member of the Mt. Morris United Methodist Church. She was a graduate of West Virginia University, where she was an alumnus. She enjoyed tennis, and riding horses. Vicky especially enjoyed spending time with her great-nephew, Justin Cook, and going to Disney World. Vicky was a certified lay speaker and had a passion to attend Bible studies.

For 35 years, she taught school and for 30 of those years she taught Business and Typing in Central Greene School District.

Surviving are two sisters, Dora Mae Cook of Pittsburgh and Annabelle Herrington of Mt. Morris; and several nieces and nephews whom she dearly loved.

Deceased are two sisters, Sharon Anne Dulaney and Kathleen Francis; two brothers, Jimmy Edgar Dulaney and Bobby Rex Delaney.

Friends will be received from noon to 2 p.m., the time of the service, Saturday, February 5, in Milliken and Throckmorton Funeral Home, Inc., Daryl L. Throckmorton, owner/director, 324 Mt. Morris Road, P.O. Box 478, Mt. Morris, PA 15349, with the Rev. Joseph Weaver officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Mt. Morris.

The family asks that memorials be made to the Mt. Morris United Methodist Church, 256 Mt. Morris Road, Mt. Morris, PA 15349.
