Michael A. North
Michael A. North, 43, of Canonsburg, died Tuesday, February 1, 2022, in his home.
He was born October 1, 1978, in Washington, a son of James North, Sr., of Charleston, W.Va., and the late Beverly Brown North Dean.
Michael was a graduate of Canon-McMillan High School and received his Bachelor’s Degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
He was former police officer for North Strabane and Smith Townships, and was presently employed as a truck driver for Waste Management.
Surviving in addition to his father; are a sister, Alana Harvey; and two brothers, Jordan and Matthew Harvey, all of Washington; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Two brothers, James North, Jr., and Stuart Harvey are deceased.
A memorial service will be planned for a later date.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the McIlvaine-Speakman Funeral Home Ltd., Robert K. McIlvaine, Owner/Supervisor, 27 Cherry Avenue, Houston, PA 15342.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made in Michael’s name to the funeral home.
