Suzanne Powell
Suzanne “Sue” Powell, 66, of Southview, passed Thursday, February 3, 2022, from complications of Covid-19.
She was born September 14, 1955, in Canonsburg, a daughter of the late John and Anita Martinek Turk.
Suzanne was a graduate of Canon-McMillan High School Class of 1973.
On October 5, 1974, she married Mike Powell, who survives.
Suzanne enjoyed walking, riding motorcycles with her husband, going to Myrtle Beach and swimming in her pool.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are four children, Chris Powell of Southview, Jamie (Luke) Powell of Cecil Township, Mandy Powell of Henrico, Va., and Katie (George Jr.) Miller of New Stanton; a brother, Randy (Barb) Turk of Washington; and a grandson, George Miller III.
Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, February 11, in Nation Funeral Home Inc., 220 E. Lincoln Avenue, McDonald, PA 15057, where services will take place at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 12. Interment will follow in Mt. Prospect Cemetery, Hickory.
