The family of Charles “Chuck” G. Meuser, Jr., is saddened to announce his passing on Sunday, February 6, 2022, after a brief battle with cancer. Chuck died just as he lived, with his wife and his three children at his side.

Chuck was born on November 3, 1949, in Erie. He was the son of Charles G. Meuser, Sr., and Mary A. Schumacher Meuser. He graduated from Cathedral Preparatory School in Erie in 1967, and attended Gannon College.

Chuck met the love of his life, Christine, in 1966. They were married in 1968 and they remained together for more than 53 years. Chuck was the owner of C.G. Meuser Construction Company in Washington, until his retirement in 2008.

He enjoyed his retirement by splitting his time between their homes in Crystal River, Florida and Warren County, Pennsylvania, spending time with his four grandchildren, reading about history and enjoying nature.

Chuck was preceded in death by his father, Charles G. Meuser, Sr., and his mother, Mary A. Schumacher Meuser.

He leaves behind his wife, Christine Cook Meuser; three children, Charles Meuser, III. (Lori), Natalie (Meuser) McAnallen (Pete), and Erik Meuser (Jane); four grandchildren, Madeline, Connor, Oliver and Bennett; sisters, Pamela (Meuser) Johnson and Margaret (Meuser) Person; one brother, Robert L. Meuser; and numerous nieces and nephews.
