Margaret Celesky
Margaret Celesky, 95, of Crucible, died Thursday, February 10, 2022, in Laurel Ridge Center, Uniontown.
She was born August 4, 1926, in New Eagle, a daughter of the late Joseph and Minnie Mendola Solecky.
Margaret was a homemaker.
She was a member of the Carmichaels Senior Citizens and the Carmichaels American Legion Auxiliary.
Margaret was Catholic by faith.
On April 5, 1949, she married Theodore J. “Pete” Celesky, who died May 29, 1994.
Surviving are a daughter, Alva (David) Koratich of Crucible; a son, Joe Celesky of Rices Landing; five grandchildren, Jared Celesky, Josh Celesky, David Koratich, Thea Sisler and Joai Mays; four great-grandchildren, Kylee and Kaslyn Koratich, Lily and Levi Sisler; a sister, Dorothy Sadler of New Eagle.
Deceased are four sisters, Mary Matti, Rita Solecky, Jean Bianchi and a sister in infancy.
In following guidelines of wearing masks, friends will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, February 15, in the Behm Funeral Home, 1477 Jefferson Road, Jefferson, PA 15344, Gregory P. Rohanna, supervisor, where a blessing service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 16, with Fr. J. Francis Frazer officiating. Interment will follow in Hewitt Cemetery, Rices Landing.
