Patty D. Lynn Thompson
Patty D. Lynn Thompson, 66, of Scenery Hill, died Sunday, February 13, 2022, in her home.
She was born March 19, 1955, in Washington, a daughter of the late Howard L. and Alta Patterson Mounts.
Patty attended Washington High School but graduated from Trinity High School. She was a caregiver for many years in her home.
She loved spending time at their cabin in Tionesta, RV camping, riding Harley with friends, and going to old car shows.
She was a member of the Arms Club, Moose Lodge #22, Keystone Club, American Legion #175, and the Independence Club.
On September 18, 2013, Patty married Harold “Jim” Thompson, who survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Sherry A. Gillispie (Huey), of Claysville; son, Joshua A. Holliday III (Angela), of Monessen; grandchildren, Kelsey Gillispie, Huey Gillispie, V (Courtney), Spencer Gillispie, and Joshua A. Holliday IV; nephew, Todd D. Mounts, Jr.; and a very special niece, whom she loved very much, Rebecca L. Ross (Henry).
Patty was preceded in death by her first husband, John “Jack” Lynn Sr., who died July 31, 2010, and her brothers, Mark H. Mounts and Todd D. Mounts.
At the request of the deceased, all services were private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 320 Bilmar Dr, Pittsburgh, PA 15205.
Arrangements have been entrusted to William G. Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington.
