Lillian Murr
Lillian June Murr, 76, of Washington, died Saturday, February 19, 2022, in the Concordia Hospice of Washington Donnell House.
She was born June 7, 1945, in Washington, a daughter of the late Robert and Dorothy Bain Murr. Ms. Murr was raised by Jesse and Anna McFall.
She was a graduate of Washington High School and went on to obtain her Associate’s degree from the Community College of Allegheny County.
She was a member of the East Buffalo United Presbyterian Church.
She was a season ticket holder for the Washington Wild Things since their inception and enjoyed playing the lottery and watching QVC.
She is survived by her partner of 53 years, Caroline Bartley; a niece, Cindy (Mike Bussard) Yoder of Kennedy; a nephew, Robert (Tina) McFall of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; great-nieces, Aubree, who was Lillian’s goddaughter, Megan, Macy and Terri; a great-nephew, Donald; three great-great-nephews, Averi, Brady and Nicholas; and two great-great-nieces, Jessee and Ovianna.
Deceased are two brothers, Jesse and Robert McFall and a sister, Bernice Froehlich.
Friends will be received from noon until 2 p.m., the hour of services, Wednesday, February 23, in the Hummell and Jones Funeral Home, 420 Locust Avenue, Washington, with Linda Mankey officiating.
Interment will follow in Washington Cemetery.
