Reggie J. Beal

Reggie J. Beal, 69, of Carmichaels, passed away Sunday, December 19, 2021, in his home. He was born June 25, 1952, in Morgantown, W.Va., a son of the late Cecil A. and Alice A. White Beal.

Reggie resided in Carmichaels for the past 40 years. He owned and operated Beal Trucking in Carmichaels in the late 1970s, and later worked as a supervisor for Halomet, Inc. until its closing. Reggie worked as a maintenance supervisor for J. Lynmar Manufacturing in Masontown before operating Beal Refrigeration and Heating from 1992 until his retirement in 2007.

After retirement, he enjoyed “tinkering” in his garage. Reggie was a member of Valley Lodge No. 459, Free & Accepted Masons, Masontown, and enjoyed watching movies and the Pittsburgh Steelers. He was also a lover of animals and leaves behind his two companions, Max and Mia.

Reggie cherished his family and was very proud of his children. On July 4, 1980, he married Glenda S. McCann, who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Jason D. Beal (Devan) of Rices Landing, and Justin P. Beal (Julie) of Jefferson; three daughters, Natalie D. Jeffries (Clyde) of Rices Landing, Nicole C. Leasher (Bert) and Traci M. Fox of Canonsburg; four grandchildren, Morgan L. Jeffries, D. Bert Leasher, J. Cole Leasher and Marklee Mae Beal; and several nieces and nephews. He was the last of his immediate family.

Deceased are two brothers, Larry P. White and Ronald Beal Sr.; and a sister, Shirley Garrison.

The family wishes to acknowledge the loving care provided by the staff of Amedisys Hospice including Jackie Workman, Erika Maskil, Kim Barton, Megan Dillow and Anisah Muhammad.

At Reggie’s request, there will be no public visitation. Family and friends are welcome to visit with the family from 5:30 until 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, January 5, 2022, in the Yoskovich Funeral Home, Martin J. Yoskovich, Funeral Director, 300 South Vine Street, Carmichaels.

Valley Lodge No. 459, F.&A.M. will conduct Masonic Services following the visitation at 7:30 p.m. in the funeral home.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Humane Society of Greene County, 183 Jefferson Road, Waynesburg.
