Jerald Bauduin
Jerald Bauduin, 79, of Georgetown, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, January 8, 2022, in Weirton Medical Center Emergency Room.
Jerry was born on October 14, 1942, in Jefferson Township, (Avella), son of the late John and Lucy Mae Jenkins Bauduin.
He attended Avella High School and was a veteran of the United States Navy, honorably discharged in 1966.
Jerry worked for Weirton Steel Corporation, as a bricklayer for 13 years, until an injury forced him to retire in 1977.
He was a member of Bert C. Siders, American Legion Post 643, and its Honor Guard of Avella, and Richard Vaux Lodge 454 of Burgettstown.
Jerry enjoyed guns and hunting. He also competed with the 17th Pennsylvania Volunteer Calvary for 40 years, where he was a Commander.
On April 28, 1965, in Cross Creek Presbyterian Church, he married Arlene Joyce Dinch, who survives.
Surviving in addition to his wife of 56 years; are a son, Jerald (Keri) Bauduin Jr., of New Manchester, W.Va.; a daughter, Michele Fink, of Georgetown; five grandchildren, David and Nick Bonanno, Alex Fink, Jerald B. and Jeffrey Bauduin; two great-grandchildren, Malena and Nico Bonanno; five brothers, John Bauduin, Jr., of Clinton, Gene (Lola) Bauduin, of Georgetown, Jules (Sandra) Bauduin, of Summerton, S.C., Jonathan Bauduin, of Avella, Jacque Bauduin, of Avella; three sisters, Joan Hoop, of Burgettstown, Joyce Fioritto, of Hookstown, Janice (David) Cheslock, of Middleburg Heights, Ohio; and many nieces and nephews.
Friends and family will be received from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, January 11th, in the Jerome A. Stefkovich Funeral Home Inc., where the Bert C. Siders American Legion Post 643 will perform a military walk through at 7 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Heart Association and the Bert C. Siders American Legion Post 643, 30 Short Street, Avella, PA 15312.
