Bonnie Butka Raspanti
Bonnie Butka Raspanti, 75, of Upper St. Clair, passed away peacefully Tuesday, January 11, 2022, in Villanova, surrounded by her son, Anthony Raspanti Jr., her daughter Alexis McGrath (John McGrath) and their children, Colin and Lila McGrath.
Reared in Canonsburg, Bonnie was the eldest daughter of Edward and Helen Butka, both deceased. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her loving husband, Anthony Raspanti.
Bonnie is survived by her four siblings, Darlene Butka (Gil Meyer) of Lawrence, Sharon Butka of Roswell, Ga., Edward Butka (Grace) of Columbus, N.J., and John Butka (Carla) of Richmond, Va.
Bonnie served 37 years as both a teacher and administrator in the Canon-McMillan School District. She touched so many lives during her tenure through her passion for education.
Bonnie loved the beach, reading and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be forever missed and in the hearts of all who knew her.
Arrangements by BEINHAUER. Friends will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, January 21, at 2828 Washington Road, McMurray, PA 15317. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, January 22, in St. Louis de Marillac Catholic Church, Upper St. Clair, PA 15241.
