Charles E. Morris, II.
Charles E. “Chumley” Morris II, 50, of Houston, died Wednesday, January 12, 2022, in Canonsburg Hospital.
He was born September 13, 1971, in Washington, a son of Dorothy “Dottie” O’Shanka Morris of Houston and the late Charles E. Morris.
Mr. Morris was a 1989 graduate of Chartiers-Houston High School, and had worked for Accutrex in Southpointe.
He was a member of the Canonsburg Sportsman’s Club and Marianna Field and Stream Sportsman’s Club.
Chuck enjoyed fishing, hunting, hanging out with friends and working on the Ryburn farm.
Surviving in addition to his mother are a daughter, Shaunna Morris (Travis Guzel) of Canonsburg; a stepsister, Eva Harris (David) of Charleroi; a step nephew, John Russell of Charleroi; a step niece, Courtney Young (Robert) of Belle Vernon; his girlfriend, Monica Cagnon and her daughter, Mackelinn of Houston; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, in the McIlvaine-Speakman Funeral Home Ltd., Robert K. McIlvaine, Owner/Supervisor, 27 Cherry Avenue, Houston, where services will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, January 15, 2022. Interment will be private in Oak Spring Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made in his name to the funeral home.
