Sara F. Gould, 75, of Fredericktown, passed away Sunday, January 9, 2022, at Fair Oaks Senior Living in Pittsburgh, following a lengthy illness.
She was born April 13, 1946, in Waynesburg, a daughter of the late June Elizabeth Gould.
Sara was a 1964 graduate of Bethlehem-Center High School and continued her education at Penn Commercial Business/Technical School in Washington.
She retired from Atlas Railroad Construction in Eighty-Four, after many years as the company’s payroll manager. Prior to working at Atlas, Sara was employed in the payroll department at First National Bank in Washington.
She was a lifelong resident of Milfred Terrace, and was a member of Millsboro United Presbyterian Church.
Sara was a kind and loving person, who enjoyed traveling and spending time with family.
Surviving are her sister and loving caregiver, Shirley Harvey, of Pittsburgh; loving sister-in-law, Kathryn Gould, of Fredericktown; nieces Tammy Gould of Fredericktown, and Patty (Michael) Costantini of Dormont; nephews Charles (Deneen) Gould of Fredericktown, and Kent Harvey of Dormont; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
Deceased, in addition to her mother, are her fiance John Trembach; two brothers, Charles H. Gould and Alfred R. Gould; and brother-in-law Richie L. Harvey.
Arrangements are private and under the direction of the Greenlee’s Fredericktown Funeral Home, Ltd.
