Edward C. “Smokey” Wagner, 68, of Washington, died Wednesday, January 12, 2022, in Washington Hospital.

He was born May 5, 1953, in Washington, a son of the late Charles E. and Gertrude Thompson Wagner.

Edward was a man of many trades, among them was driving trucks.

In his free time he had passions for fishing, woodworking, and watching Jeopardy.

On June 23, 1973, in Washington, he married the love of his life, Sandra Chase, who survives.

Also surviving are a son, Daniel Wagner of Washington; a daughter, Charie (Wayne) Livingood of Washington; and two grandchildren, Zachary (Tiffany) Harris and Harley Livingood.

Deceased is a sister, Cheryl Ann Wagner.
