Frank D. White
Frank D. “Fu” White, 67, formerly of Washington, died Friday, December 31, 2021, in his home in Rockledge, Fla., following a 5-year illness.
He was born July 1, 1954, in Waynesburg, a son of the late William N. White Sr., and Naoe Eileen Kaneko White Hartzog of Washington.
Frank was a 1974 graduate of Trinity High School and attended Arizona State University on a football scholarship. He once coached Trinity youth football and youth wrestling before moving out of state.
He worked for the Washington County Roads Department, and upon moving to Florida in 1988, he worked on the concrete construction of launch pads for Kennedy Space Center.
Frank is survived by sons, Cris (Tonya) White of Washington State, Justen White of Jacksonville, Fla., Daniel (Trisha) White of Rockledge; brother, Robert (Carol) White of Washington; sisters, Alice (Roy) Harris of Rocky Point, N.C., and Laura Stuhlmueller of Melbourne, Fla.; grandchildren, Jorden, Bailey, Brandon, Colby and Cecilia.
He was preceded in death by his brother, William “Butch” White Jr.; and sister, Nancy Stephens.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
