Audrey Gladys Sargent
Audrey Gladys Sargent, 91, of Washington, died on Sunday, January 16, 2022, in Transitions Healthcare Nursing Home, in Washington.
She was born on December 2, 1930, in Richeyville, a daughter of the late Alexander and Mary Dokish Popovich.
Audrey had attended Trinity High School.
A voracious reader who enjoyed cooking, Audrey was a wonderful baker, who made many delectable treats for her family and friends. She also enjoyed playing bingo. Her greatest joys were her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whom she loved dearly.
On March 19, 1953, she married the love of her life, Vincent A. Sargent, who survives.
Also surviving are three daughters, Judy (Bill) O’Brien, of Golden, Colo., Alison (Jeff) Wigman, of Washington, and Lynn (Ken) Schulz, of Hickory; six grandchildren, Erin (Dustin) O’Brien-McCall, Bill O’Brien, Jr., Jason (Brit) Wigman, Megan (Joe) McGee, Jake Schulz, and Mason Schulz; and three great-grandchildren, Erich Wigman, Aven Wigman, and Breece McGee.
Deceased are six siblings, Helen, Julie, Mildred, Ann, Marian, and Melvin; a granddaughter, Samantha; and two great-grandchildren, Zaiden and Evelyn.
At the request of the deceased, all services will be private, and held at the convenience of the family.
