Sandra Kay Conklin
Sandra Kay “Sandy” Conklin, 66, of Washington, died Saturday, January 15, 2022, in the Washington Hospital.
She was born June 10, 1955, in Washington, a daughter of the late Willis Guy and Edna Mae Pettit Conklin.
Sandy was a graduate of Washington High School.
Surviving are a daughter, Susan V. Allen of Washington; a brother, Herbert “Skip” Hawkins of Ashtabula, Ohio; four sisters, Nancy (the late Ronald “Puff”) Carter of Houston, Bonnie (Don) Neely of Claysville, Grace Hawkins of Canonsburg, and Wilma (Arnold) Schulte of Ashtabula; five grandchildren, Dylan Guy (Teresa) Parkinson, Ethan and Evan Parkinson, Abygaile Maye Parkinson, and Willis Lee Parkinson; two great-granddaughters, Ariah and Arabella Parkinson; 20 nieces and nephews; her longtime companion, Howard Bowman; and a sister-in-law, Rebecca Sue Hawkins.
Deceased are four brothers, Harold “Butch” Hawkins, Joseph Hawkins, who died in infancy, Michael Hawkins, and Charles Hawkins.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 7 p.m., the time of service, Tuesday, January 25, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington.
