Roseann V. Motte Holder, 94, of McDonald, passed away Thursday, January 20, 2022, in St. Clair Hospital.

Roseann was born December 4, 1927, in McDonald, a daughter of the late Louis and Victoria Klimas Motte.

Mrs. Holder loved the area that she grew up in and never felt the need to leave.

Roseann worked as a pharmacy technician for McDonald Pharmacy. She also was a devout member of St. Alphonsus Church, where she volunteered with the St. Vincent DePaul group and also volunteered with Meals on Wheels as much as she could. Serving others was a passion of Roseann’s and she did so with love and compassion every time.

Surviving are her grandson, Brandan Holder; granddaughter, Meagan (Raymond) Baker; brother, Paul W. Belak; great-grandchildren, Korbin and Aiyana Baker.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Vernne Holder; son, Gregory Holder; and siblings, Richard Belak, Louis Motte and Louise Kerr.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, January 29, in St. Isidore the Farmer Parish, St. Alphonsus Church, McDonald.
