Albert Mancuso
Albert Mancuso, 92, of Washington, died Thursday, January 27, 2022, in his home, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born August 11, 1929, in Washington, a son of the late John and Bella Mancuso.
Mr. Mancuso was a 1948 graduate of Trinity High School.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was employed as a laborer for the Former McGraw Edison. He retired from Cooper in 1991.
He was a member of Central Assembly of God, Houston. He was also a member of the Alpine Club and a 70+ year member of Edwin Scott Linton Post #175 of the American Legion, Washington.
On July 17, 1964, he married Shirley Jean Estel Berdine. Mrs. Mancuso died July 24, 1998.
Surviving are a son, Harold “Pete” (Sally) Berdine of Richeyville; two daughters, Linda (John) Murr of Bentleyville and Janet (Bob) Higgins of Eighty Four; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Evelyn (Mike) Pirazzo of Washington.
Deceased are two grandchildren; two brothers, Frank and Leonard Mancuso; and two sisters, Grace Almo and Angie Myers.
Friends will be received from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, February 1, in Hummell and Jones Funeral Home, 420 Locust Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 2. Interment will follow in Washington Cemetery.
