Lawrence D. Scola, 95, of Canonsburg, died on Wednesday, June 29, 2022.
Born July 25, 1926, son of the late Giovanni and Mary Collavo Scola; beloved husband of the late Margaret Zulick Scola for over 50 years; loving father of Larry (Kris) Scola, David (Vickie) Scola, Mary Jane Price, Eric (Judy) Scola, and the late John (and his wife Nancy who survives) Scola; Cherished grandfather of David, Jon, Jessica, Jillian, Sarah and Jack, and great grandfather of Madison and Jaxson.
Larry was known to say, “Scola is my name, and brick is my game!”
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and skeet shooting, and his daily breakfasts at Liz’s Corner Kitchen, in McDonald.
He was a longtime member of the Cecil Alliance Church and loved his congregation family.
Family and friends will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, at the Warchol Funeral Home Inc., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville, 412-221-3333, where a service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 6.
Interment and military honors to follow at Melrose Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Cecil Alliance Church.
