Richard Kiefer, 72, of Brownsville, passed away Saturday, July 2, 2022, in his home.

He was born January 20, 1950, a son of the late Aloysius and Elizabeth Erb Kiefer.

Mr. Kiefer was a 1968 graduate of Baldwin/Whitehall High School.

Richard held many different positions throughout his life, most of which were building maintenance.

He was a member of the Blainsburg Bible Church.

Richard was proud to be called a farmer and also enjoyed hunting, fishing, collecting and selling antiques.

In 1973, he married Linda Norris Kiefer, who survives.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are two children, Michael Kiefer (Jessica) of Bentleyville, and Lori Gudel (Dave) of West Pike Run; three grandchildren, Destiny, Dajah and Joseph; two great-grandchildren, Elora and Lennox; a sister, Barbara George (Steve) of White Oak; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral arrangements are private and under the direction of the John B. Greenlee Funeral Home, Ltd., 2830 Main Street, Beallsville. Interment will be held in Lafayette Memorial Park, where Military Rites will be accorded by the Centerville American Legion Post #705 and the U.S. Air Force.
