Mary Joanne Petricca White
Mary White, 94, of Atlasburg, is now taking her long well-deserved rest. She passed away in her cherished home on Friday, July 8, 2022, where she had lived for 68 years.
She was born on August 12, 1927, daughter of the late John and Aurora Petricca in Atlasburg. Mary Graduated in 1945 from Union High School in Burgettstown.
After working all her teenage years on the family farm, milking cows and selling the milk to the neighborhood people, she moved to Washington to work at Tygart Valley Glass Factory. It was there she met her husband to be, Lloyd. They were married in December 1950.
Mary was an immaculate housekeeper. She loved music and dancing. She belonged to the Dip & Dive square dancers in Steubenville, Ohio. She was also a member of The Slovan VFW Ladies Auxillary and The Burgettstown Senior Citizens Center.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Janice Krynak (Mike) of Bavington; three grandsons, Garrett White of Zanesville Ohio, Michael Krynak (Mary) of Allison Park, and Eric Krynak (Jessica D’Amico) of Canonsburg; and one great-grandson, Noah Krynak; and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd, who passed away on July 10, 2012; her son, Gary, who passed on July 18, 2002; a granddaughter, who passed away at birth in 1985; and also her two brothers, Eugene (Ruth) and Matthew (Ruth) Petricca.
