Brenda Alberta Carroll
Brenda Alberta “Nunny” Carroll, 58, of Washington, died on Thursday, July 7, 2022, in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh.
She was born on September 4, 1963 in Washington, a daughter of the late Lillian Levers Carroll.
Brenda attended Washington High School.
A hard worker, Nunny had worked at Isaly’s, Sam’s Club, Humbert Lane Nursing Home and Washington and Jefferson College.
She was a compassionate person, who loved to help everyone and loved working. Most of all, Brenda loved her family, and especially enjoyed watching her grandchildren playing sports.
Surviving are four children, Crystal Levers Bartko, of Washington, Shane (Melissa) Carroll, of Washington, Shawn Carroll, of Washington, and Courtney Carroll, of Washington; four siblings, Diana Patterson, Sharon Bainer, David Carroll, and Darla Carroll; eight grandchildren, Kiya, Gerald “L.J.”, Shawn, Alayna, Caliandra, Nala, Nyla, and Clarke; and many nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind many people who considered Brenda to be their second mother.
Deceased are two brothers, Wayne Levers, and James “Tree” Carroll.
Friends and family will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, July 15, 2022, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 16, 2022.
The family requests that all who are planning to attend the visitation and or funeral, please dress in casual attire.
