Irene was a member of the former St. Agnes Catholic Church in Richeyville.
Bubbie was a big fan of Elvis, polkas, and was known for her authentic, Eastern European cooking. She cherished her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren more than anything and was truly happiest sharing meals and memories with those she loved.
She is survived by her sons, Paul “Chip” Yancich Jr. of Canonsburg and Thomas (Mary Lynn) Yancich of Washington; daughters, Lorraine (Larry) Damich of Rostraver and Lynne (Michael) Lockovich of Venetia; her seven grandchildren, whom she dearly loved, Matthew Damich of Rostraver, Scott (Kate) Damich of Jackson, Mich., Brianna (Guido) LaPorta of Chicago, Ill., Jamie (Jason) Knizner of Bridgeville, Michael (fiancee Cody Hickton) Yancich of Canonsburg, Stephanie (Vincent) Courtney of Pittsburgh and Ian Lockovich of Venetia; three great-grandsons, Ezra, Isaac and Jack; and brother, Stephen (Kathleen) Betsko of Homosassa, Fla.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Yancich, on January 21, 2000; brother, John Betsko; and most recently by her loving sister, Anna E. Betsko, who passed away on July 2, 2022.
