Kevin A. Emehizer
Kevin A. Emehizer, 63, of Cecil, passed away unexpectedly Monday July 11, 2022, in his home. He was born February 23, 1959, in Natrona, a son of the late Floyd and Gail Corbett Emehizer.
Kevin lived most of his life in Apollo, Canonsburg for six years and the past two years in Cecil Township.
He was a member of Champion Christian Church and had been employed as a mining supervisor with Amfire Mining Co. of Latrobe. Kevin was a member of the United Mine Workers of America and enjoyed video games, mowing the lawn, his Labradoodle, Niko, and especially time spent with his grandchildren.
On June 30, 1978, he married Terri Myers, who survives after 44 years of marriage. Also left behind to cherish his memory are his sons, Kevin Emehizer of Cecil and Bradley Emehizer and wife Jess of Canonsburg; six grandchildren, Jaiden, Ryn, Abby and Toby Emehizer, Sidney Carpenter and Ian Rugh; two sisters, Renee (Dean) Cratty of Butler and Lynne (William) Wilson of Apollo; his sister-in-law, Michelle (Alan) McMunn; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased, in addition to his parents, are his son, Jonathan Emehizer, who passed away May 2, 2018; and his sister, Lori Gallo.
At Kevin’s request, there will be no public visitation or services. Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery, Apollo.
