Ralph L. “Larry” Waychoff, 73, of Washington, died Tuesday, July 12, 2022, in Allegheny General Hospital.

He was born July 12, 1949, in Washington, a son of the late Ralph A. and Jean Marie Berg Waychoff.

A 1968 graduate of Trinity High School, Larry was a member of North Buffalo Presbyterian Church.

Larry was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, having served from April 21, 1969 until April 13, 1971, when he was honorably discharged with the rank of Lance Corporal.

Mr. Waychoff retired following 33 years working for Jessop Steel as the ladle crane operator.

He was a lifetime member of the Claysville American Legion and the Washington Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Larry enjoyed playing cards, gardening, cooking, canning, and watching stock car racing. Most of all, Larry loved spending time with his family.

On November 25, 1972, he married the love of his life, Carol L. McManany, who survives. In November they would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.

Surviving are three children, Tammi L. (Nick Jr.) Dubina of Washington, Tina L. (Alvin) Rogers of Washington, and David L. (Susan) Waychoff of Washington; a brother, Richard A. (Pamela) Waychoff of Arizona; a sister, Donna Jean Waychoff of Washington; eight grandchildren, Nicholas K. Dubina, Nathan T. Dubina, Kara L. Dubina, Alan S. Dubina, Cody J. Rogers, Colton A. Rogers, Cameron M. Rogers and Jonathan McMasters; two great-grandchildren, Jonah Dubina and Jameson Rogers; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, July 15, and from 12 to 2 p.m. Saturday, July 16, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 16.

Inurnment will take place at a later date in National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, at which time full military honors will be accorded by the United States Marine Corps and the Claysville American Legion.
