Cora Bane Vadella

Cora Bane Vadella, 93, of Elco, passed away on Friday, July 15, 2022. A daughter of the late Elgie and Nellie Sevitsky McCrory, she was born in North Charleroi on June 27, 1929.

Formerly of Roscoe, Cora Bane has been a resident of Elco since 1960. She was a devout member of the former St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Roscoe, loved making ceramics, playing Euchre with her card club, and cooking and baking for her family.

She is survived by her husband of 71 years, Patrick Vadella; three sons and daughters-in-law, Donald Vadella of Elco, Anthony and Sally Vadella of Midlothian, Va., and Thomas and Tammy Vadella of Roscoe; eight grandchildren, Brandon (Sandra) Vadella, Hunter Vadella, Tiffany (Dustin) Griffith-Vadella, Aleshia (Blake) Eiwen, Emerald Vadella, Justin Vadella, Jordon Vadella and his fiancee, Jordan Powell, and Jesse Vadella; eight great-grandchildren, Alaina, Arianna, Grayson, Avianna, Sophia, Lachlan, Elliana, and Karsyn, and another one “on the way”; a brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Berna McCrory of Roscoe; a sister, Jackie Donaldson of Stockdale; and a sister-in-law, Dorothy McCrory of Roscoe.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Patrick Vadella; a brother, Richard McCrory; a daughter-in-law, Holly Coulson Vadella; and a brother-in-law, Harold Donaldson.

A blessing will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
