Russell H. Holleran
Russell H. Holleran, 83, of East Bethlehem Township, died Thursday, July 14, 2022, in Wheeling Medical Center, following a brief illness.
He was born October 22, 1938, in Vestaburg, a son of the late James and Mildred Livingstone Holleran.
Mr. Holleran was a 1956 graduate of Beth Joint High School and also attended California University of Pennsylvania. He was also a proud veteran of the U.S. Army.
He had been employed early in his career by Boyle Land and Fuel, Eaton Corporation, and Bendix Corporation. Later in his career, he worked for and retired from Beth Energy as a payroll clerk and lab technician at Mines #58, #60, and 84 Complex for many years.
On May 13, 1972, he married Patricia Jennings and together they recently celebrated 50 years of marriage.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Jennifer A. Holleran Nusser (Edmund); a sister-in-law, Iris J. Holleran; two nieces, Karen Motichko and Kathy Wasson (Ben Baskin); and two nephews, Dr. James D. Holleran and Dr. David J. Holleran (Cheryl).
Deceased, in addition to his parents, are a sister, Patricia M. Motichko; and two brothers, James H. Holleran and Robert W. Holleran. Mr. Holleran was the last of his immediate family.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, July 18, in the John B. Greenlee Funeral Home, Ltd., 2830 Main Street, Beallsville, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 19. Interment will be in Buckingham Cemetery, Deemston Borough.
