Margaret Kay Dille
Margaret Kay Dille, 66, of Core, W.Va., died at 11:30 a.m. Friday, July 15, 2022, in the Monongalia General Hospital in Morgantown, W.Va.
She was born Tuesday, February 28, 1956, in Morgantown, a daughter of the late Willis Vincent Shaver and Nellie Blanche Roderick Wade.
Mrs. Dille enjoyed working with her hands especially gardening, landscaping, working with wood and painting. She also loved hunting, fishing and working on the farm. Margaret was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Lester E. Dille, whom she married December 31, 1974.
Also surviving are one daughter, Terri “Ted” Summers of Core; one son, Lester “Bud” Dille II of Mt. Morris; three grandchildren, Tucker Summers, Olivia Summers and Mason Dille; four sisters, Janet Johnson of Mt. Morris, Linda Frady of Smithfield, Elizabeth Frum of Maidsville, W.Va., and Diane Tennant of Morgantown; and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to give a special thank you to Ruthy Baker for all of her help with Margaret during her illness.
Deceased are one son, Christopher Dille; one grandson, Austin Summers; and one brother, Robert Wade.
Friends will be received from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 20, in the Milliken and Throckmorton Funeral Home, Inc., Daryl L. Throckmorton, owner / director, 324 Mt. Morris Road, P.O. Box 478, Mount Morris, PA 15349.
At the request of the deceased, there will be no services and burial will be private.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to a favorite charity.
