Helen George, 81, of Pennsylvania, passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2022. She was born July 11, 1941, in Canonsburg, the 11th child of 15 to the late Elias and Martha George.

Helen grew up in Eighty Four on the family farm and attended the Sumney-Ginger Hill school. She later transferred to Evergreen Park Community High School in Illinois, where she graduated in 1959.

She loved being outdoors, whether taking a walk down the lane or around her property in Amity. Helen enjoyed ending her days listening to her favorite classic country music. She was a hard worker, having worked various jobs before retiring from A&S Landscaping in Canonsburg.

Helen is survived by her children, Tammy Henderson of Pennsylvania, Robert Clark of Georgia, and Diana Perry of West Virginia; her 11 grandchildren; siblings, Pete, Joe, Mike, William, Tony and Bobby George; and only sister, Nancy Murphy.

Helen was predeceased by her son, Anthony Clark and her brothers, Elias, Ken, Tony, Dave, Ben, John and Paul George.

She will be laid to rest Saturday, August 20, during a private family service at the George Family Farm Cemetery.
