Mark “Kevin” Kotouch, 68, of O’Fallon, Ill., born Saturday, January 2, 1954, in Waynesburg, passed away Saturday, July 16, 2022, in Memorial Hospital in Belleville, Ill.

Kevin, a beloved husband, father, brother, uncle and friend, passed away unexpectedly due to complications from his battle with cancer. He will be sorely missed by his family and all who knew him.

Kevin worked as a server engineer in I.T. for over 31 years before retiring. Throughout his life, he had many hobbies that he enjoyed including playing guitar, learning the piano, painting with watercolors, camping and fishing. He was a wonderful provider and immensely proud of his three children and the lives they are leading. He still had much to do, but was taken away too quickly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilfred and Caroline “Sue” Maga Kotouch; and his cherished nephew, Christopher Hill.

Surviving are his wife, Mary Ellen Kotouch of O’Fallon; children, Lindsay Kotouch of Fairborn, Ohio, Ashley (Christopher) Lowe of Maryland Heights, Mo., Zachary Kotouch (Janelle Garza) of San Diego, Calif.; sister, Kathleen “Kim” (Joseph) Homic of North Carolina; and beloved furbaby, Baxter.

“We love you Kevin and our lives will be so different without you here. Just know that you will not be forgotten. We love you.” Your loving wife, Mary Ellen, children, Lindsay, Ashley, Zach and Baxter.
