Keith Richard Bowman, 80, of Carmichaels, died Monday, July 18, 2022, in his home after a brief illness.
Mr. Bowman was born February 20, 1942, in Masontown, the son of the late Albert and Anna Devault Bowman.
On October 8, 1962, Keith married Jane Faye Nugent, who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Keith Richard Bowman Jr. (Tina), of Mather, and Robert Albert Bowman (Eron), of Carmichaels; five grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
He was the last of his immediate family.
Keith served his country in the 1960’s as a jet engine mechanic in the U.S. Air Force in Charleston, S.C.
He worked as a coal miner at the former Clyde Mine in Fredericktown, and was a member of the U.M.W.A.
His hobbies included furniture making, hunting, fishing, and gardening. Keith and Janet raised a good family in their own loving garden.
Family and friends will be welcomed from 6 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday July 20, 2022, in the Paul M. Lesako Funeral Home, 204 Dowlin Avenue, Carmichaels PA 15320. 724-966-5100. Paul M Lesako, Supervisor / Owner.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, July 21, 2022, in Laurel Point Cemetery, Carmichaels. Please meet at the cemetery.
