Lois Mae Lemley Blaker, 80, of Mt. Morris, passed away peacefully at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 13, 2022, at the Pirateland Camp Ground in Myrtle Beach, S.C., while vacationing with her family in one of her favorite spots.
She was born Wednesday, March 18, 1942 in Waynesburg, a daughter of the late Edward Dewey Lemley and Martha Price Lemley.
Lois was affiliated with the former Whiteley Creek Community Church.
She was a graduate of Mt. Morris High School, class of 1960.
She loved shopping and spending time with her grandchildren.
She had worked as an office manager for Oleksa Enterprises in Morgantown, W.Va. and was a Homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Willis G. “Jerry” Blaker, whom she married on July 28, 1962.
Also surviving are one daughter, Pamela Sue Mullins and her husband Arlie, of Morgantown, W.Va.; one son, Willis G. “Jay” Blaker III. and his wife Missy, of Mt. Morris; three grandchildren: Mikel, Ian and Kiersten; one sister, Jane Richmond and her husband Grant, of Kokomo, Ind.; and several nieces and nephews; also surviving is her caregiver Kathy Posey.
Deceased are one sister, Anna Lou Lemley; and two brothers, Charles Lemley and Allen Dale Lemley
Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, July 21, 2022, in the Milliken and Throckmorton FH, Inc., Daryl L. Throckmorton Owner / Director, 324 Mt. Morris Road, P.O. Box 478, Mt. Morris, PA 15349, where services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, July 22, 2022, with Rev. Joseph Weaver officiating. Burial will be in Claughton Cemetery, Whiteley Township, Greene County.
