John A. Lewis Jr.

John A. Lewis Jr., 86, of Oakdale, passed on Friday, July 22, 2022.

He was born August 27, 1935 in Imperial; a son of the John A. Lewis Sr. and Pauline Clara George.

Mr. Lewis was salesman for Joseph Horne’s Company in Pittsburgh for over 40 years.

John enjoyed spending time at his camp in Warren, where he would fish, hunt, and canoe down the Allegheny River. He was a member of the Polish Falcons Club in Glendale, and was an avid Steelers fan.

On September 29, 1984 he married, Susan Lynne Kalish, who survives.

Also surviving are five children Johnna (John) Bangs of FL, Chris (Lisa) Gardiner of Hookstown, PA., Marny (Doug) Wright of Fla., Kim (Joe) Bianchi of McDonald, and Travis (Allison) Lewis of Midway, Fla.; two brothers, Bob Lewis of Calif., and Dan Lewis of Md.; a sister, Viola O’Connor of Calif; 12 grandchildren and 11 great- grandchildren.

Deceased is a brother George Lewis.

Funeral arrangement is entrusted to Nation Funeral Home Inc. 220 E. Lincoln Ave. McDonald, PA. 15057.
