Anthony A. Zenner, 87, of Washington, passed away Tuesday, July 26, 2022. He was born January 31, 1935, in Washington, a son of the late Tony and Helen Ann Moyer Zenner.

Mr. Zenner attended Washington High School and Irene’s Beauty Academy. He was a member of St. James Parish in Washington.

Mr. Zenner owned and operated Zenner’s Town House Salon in Washington for over 30 years.

He loved mowing his grass on his tractor, talking with friends and having long meaningful conversations. Mr. Zenner was also an avid reader. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family, especially the time spent with his grandchildren. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Surviving is his wife, Paula A. Zenner of Washington. The couple had been married for over 50 years. Also surviving are a son, Justin A. (Valerie) Zenner of Peters Township; six grandchildren, Natalie, Gianna, Lucia and Stella Zenner, and Evan and Erin Zenner and their mother and fiancee of his late son, Chris, and Darcy Beckett. Also surviving is a brother-in-law, Shawn (Barbara) Jones of Alabama; and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Zenner was the last of his immediate family.

In addition to his father and mother, Mr. Zenner was preceded in death by a son, Chris A. Zenner; a brother, Frank Zenner; and a sister, Mary Troiani.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, July 31, in the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc., Wilson at East Katherine Avenue, Washington, S. Timothy Warco, supervisor / director, Holly Renay Warco, director, S. Timothy Warco II, director, Park N. Crosier, director. A blessing service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, August 1, in the funeral home, with the Rev. George Chortos officiating. Interment will follow in Washington Cemetery.
