Kaye Gaus White Stockdale
Kaye Gaus White Stockdale, 81, of Washington, died on Saturday, June 18, 2022, in the Donnell House.
She was born on September 16, 1940, in Amity, a daughter of the late John and Frances Longstreath Gaus.
A graduate of Trinity High School, Kaye was a member of Amity Methodist Church.
Mrs. Stockdale worked for 26 years as a secretary, in the laboratory in Washington Hospital.
An avid reader, Kaye enjoyed travel, country music and shopping for shoes and purses.
Her greatest joy was her family, especially spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
On May 2, 2002, she married Gale Faris Stockdale Jr., who died on December 10, 2010.
Surviving are three sons, M. Doug (Billie) White, Mark (Mary Jo) Stockdale, and Paul (Kim) Dearing; two daughters, Mary Kaye Dorado and Vicki (Wray) White; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are a son, K. Scott White; a brother, John Gaus Jr.; and a sister, Nancy Bosang.
Friends and family will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 until 8 p.m. on Thursday, June 23, 2022, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where a funeral service and committal service will be held at 1 p.m., on Friday, June 24, 2022.
